Beautiful and great value for money Positive: Beautiful farm stay. Peaceful and stunning views. The bbq is a good touch. We visited west bay beach which is 30 mins away and a lovely day out. Cute little village pub close by. Seeing the animals around such as ducks and horses is lovely. Negative: Very hot in the cabin
Positive: Dark skies, quiet, scenic, chicken visits in the morning Negative: The place wasn't very clean. Had to wash best part of the cutlery before we could eat. There were 2 windows in the pod that were screwed shut. Also there was nothing apart from a tiny dustpan and brush to sweep the whole floor with it mop up
Excellent glamping holiday for family adventures Positive: Location, glamping pod was well equipped, great view from pod. Good size for a family of 4. Peaceful
Perfect for where we wanted to be. Positive: Location was perfect for us as we were visiting a local fair. Showers and loos immaculate. Negative: Cabin was a little tired, windows would not open and it smelled strongly of smoke (maybe from previous barbeque.) Distance from WC and shower.
Nice but could improve Positive: The farm is in a beautiful location and the two lodges are in a tranquil setting. We enjoyed having the barbecue and fire pit which we made the most of using. The ducks and geese wandering around were great to see and the horses on the farm are stunning and clearly the key focus there. Negative: Accepting that we were glamping but there was a fair bit more that could have been done to make the lodge cleaner and more comfortable. The facilities such as the oven and fridge freezer were great but little things like a broom to sweep the floor and some effort to remove the cobwebs and vacuum before we arrived would have made the stay more pleasant. We were also very surprised that the showers and toilets only appeared to be cleaned once during our whole stay of 7 days. No facilities at all for recycling which is disappointing. The owner was not present on arrival or departure although did provide a mobile number for any issues.
Enjoyed very much except not having a bathroom in the chalet Positive: We didn't have the breakfast as it was very expensive Negative: Would have been better if the toilet was not so far away
The famous two go nuts in Dorset. Positive: Everything, friendly, professional staff, even bringing coffees down to our cabin, when they realised that my wife is disabled! We couldn't recommend this place any higher, tranquil, horses 🐎 looking over the fence at us over the fence from their field, next to the cabin/pod, sheep 🐑 in the other field, and ducks greeting us each morning. We initially came down for an anniversary party in nearby Portland but stayed a few extra days, an excellent break. We camp regularly, and this site is as good as, if not better than nearly all the others we have been to, both here and abroad ! Negative: The slope from the pods to the shower block, but then we are both old gits, and it wouldn't bother anyone who wasn't in God's waiting room ! A nice selection of leisure pastimes as well!
Can’t wait to go back 🤩 Positive: Everything was great.
Positive: Quiet and peaceful Negative: That the bathroom was a walk away. Especially at night
